Keeply does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no
analytics. Everything you put into Keeply — your home’s schedule, its records,
your documents and photos — stays on your devices and in your own iCloud
account. Outback Automation cannot see it, cannot recover it, and never
receives a copy of it.
Keeply stores what you enter: your home’s details, the maintenance schedule
it builds for you, appliances and their part numbers, paint colours and other
finishes, projects and their costs, completed-task history, and any documents
or photos you scan or import.
This lives in the app on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, it also
syncs through Apple’s iCloud service to your other devices using your own
private iCloud database. That sync is between you and Apple — it does not pass
through any server belonging to Outback Automation, because there isn’t one.
If you choose to share a home with someone, Keeply uses Apple’s built-in
iCloud sharing. The people you invite can see and edit that home’s records on
their own devices. You can stop sharing, or a member can leave, at any time —
access ends when you do. Sharing is always something you start deliberately;
nothing is shared unless you invite someone.
Keeply never asks for or uses your location. When you tell it which country
your home is in, that answer is used only to work out which way your seasons
run, and it is stored with your home’s record like any other detail you type.
Each of these is requested only at the moment you use the feature, and
declining any of them leaves the rest of the app working.
So you can search for words inside a scanned receipt or manual, Keeply reads
the text in your documents using Apple’s on-device text recognition. That
processing happens on your device. Your documents are not uploaded anywhere for
analysis.
Keeply Plus is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App
Store. Outback Automation never sees or stores your payment details. Whether
you have purchased is confirmed by Apple’s own receipt on your device.
There are none. Keeply contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking
and no third-party accounts. Links you save yourself — such as where you bought
a part — open in your browser only when you tap them, and those sites have
their own privacy policies.
You hold the data, so you control its life. Deleting a record removes it.
Deleting the app removes what is stored on that device; anything synced to your
iCloud is managed through your Apple account settings. Keeply can also export
everything you have — records, schedule, history, projects and every document —
as ordinary files you can keep or open elsewhere. That export is free and
always will be.
Keeply is a tool for looking after a home and is intended for adults. It is
not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Privacy law gives you rights to access, correct and delete personal
information a business holds about you. Because Outback Automation does not
hold any of your Keeply data, there is nothing for us to produce or erase —
your data is already in your hands, and the export button gives you a full copy
whenever you want one.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page
with a new date at the top. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release
notes.
