Steady Reef (“the app”) is developed by Outback Automation, an Australian business. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Steady Reef does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, and the app makes no network connections. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Tank details, water parameters, dosing logs and settings are stored only in the app’s local storage on your device. They are never transmitted anywhere, and Outback Automation has no way to see them.
If you export a PDF report, it is generated entirely on your device and handed to your device’s share sheet. It goes only where you choose to send it — by message, email, or saving to a file. Nothing is sent to us.
None. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party data services of any kind.
Like most apps, Steady Reef’s local data may be included in the device backups you control (such as an iCloud or computer backup of your phone), under Apple’s or Google’s own terms. That remains your data in your backup — we have no access to it.
Your data lives only on your device. You can clear it in the app, or remove everything by deleting the app.
Privacy laws in your region (such as the Australian Privacy Act, GDPR or CCPA) may give you rights over personal data held about you. Since Outback Automation does not collect or hold any of your data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete — but if you have any questions or concerns, we’re happy to help.
If the app’s data practices ever change, we will update this page and note a new effective date above.
