Muster Up Privacy Policy

Effective: 27 July 2026

Muster Up (“the app”) is developed by Outback Automation, an Australian business. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

The short version

Muster Up does not collect your personal data. Your trip data belongs to you and stays on your devices and in your own Apple iCloud account. We operate no servers of our own, and the app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

Data you create in the app

Trips, group members, food plans, shopping lists, costs, receipts and settlement records are stored locally on your device and synced between your devices through your personal iCloud account (Apple’s CloudKit private database). This data is not visible or accessible to Outback Automation. When you share a trip, it is shared only with the people you invite, through Apple’s iCloud sharing.

Device permissions the app may request

Third-party services

The only third party involved in running the app is Apple (iCloud/CloudKit for sync and sharing, WeatherKit for forecasts), under Apple’s own privacy terms. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking services in the app.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives in your own iCloud account, you are in control of it. You can delete trips in the app, or remove all app data via your device’s iCloud settings. We cannot access or delete your data for you, because we never hold it.

Your rights

Privacy laws in your region (such as the Australian Privacy Act, GDPR or CCPA) may give you rights over personal data held about you. Since Outback Automation does not collect or hold your personal data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete — but if you have any questions or concerns, we’re happy to help.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices ever change, we will update this page and note a new effective date above.
